Of Fireflies and Taxes...
I bet you're expecting a poem of some sort. But no. I was just thinking about the fact that I saw fireflies in the trees again tonight and that my quarterly estimated taxes are due.
Actually, I kind of miss the 2 trees that were taken down recently. Last year there were fireflies galore in them and I would sit outside and just look at the trees lighting up. It was beautiful. There's not as many fireflies this year. Maybe its the heat?
I'm not going to expound on taxes. Why bother?
In good news today, Conan started going up and down steps again. And running.
I finished the front (or maybe its the back?) of Orangina today, and cast on for the back (or is it the front?). I've finished 2 repeats of the lace pattern so far....
And yes, I know that Honfest was yesterday. And no, I didn't go. It was too hot. But I DID go to Cloverhill with Peggy and bought some SoySilk. And then we found a new bead shop nearby and I bought some beads for the Lace and Agate Scarf. Of course now I'll have to figure out what yarn I'm going to use for the scarf itself.
Anyway, its back to the grindstone tomorrow. Poop.
